Uniquely Ethnic

Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival (JFFF) 2014 in last fashion, featuring The Catwalk Fashion Gallery in fashion show and followed by 10 designers, each of which presents some unique and ethnic fashion. They are Handy Hartono, Abee, Mahadevi, Fay’s Batik, Citra Gallery, Dana Rahardja, Dewi Qu, Hikmat, Melia Wijaya, and Kamea Dannela.

Handy Hartono fashion show shades of blue with weaving, Melia Wijaya with songket by using bright colors, Abee Electric with Butterfly theme using Lombok weaving and embroidery techniques butterfly, Kamea Dannela, comes with a Makasar weaving fashion, and Hikmat featuring a collection of abaya with black shades .

Then Dewi Qu present the work of elegant and girly, Dana Rahardja with Batik Pekalongan ethnic and simple, Fay’s Batik certainly use batik combined with motifs encim and kebaya. Last, Mahadevi who always carries fabric typical of Indonesia such as kebaya, batik, and weaves looks simple, elegant, and modern. MFJ-Jakarta

Minggu terakhir di acara Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival (JFFF) 2014 lalu, The Catwalk Fashion Gallery menampilkan peragaan busana yang diikuti oleh 10 orang designer yang masing-masing menghadirkan beberapa karya busananya yang unik dan etnik. Mereka adalah Handy Hartono, Abee, Mahadevi, Fay’s Batik, Citra Gallery, Dana Rahardja, Dewi Qu, Hikmat, Melia Wijaya, dan Kamea Dannela.

Handy Hartono menampilkan busana bernuansa biru dengan tenun, Melia Wijaya dengan songket yang menggunakan warna-warna terang, Abee mengusung tema Butterfly Electric dengan menggunakan tenun Lombok dan tehnik sulam kupu, Kamea Dannela, hadir dengan busana tenun Makasar, dan Hikmat menampilkan koleksi abayanya bernuansa hitam.

Kemudian Dewi Qu hadir dengan karya yang elegant dan girly, Dana Rahardja dengan Batik Pekalongan yang etnik dan simple, Fay’s Batik tentunya menggunakan batik yang dipadu dengan motif encim dan kebaya, serta Mahadevi yang selalu mengusung kain khas Indonesia seperti kebaya, batik, dan tenun yang tampak simple, elegant, dan moderen.
