H&M and Jeff Koons

Oh My God! never ever I would ever thought that Jeff Koons will be doing a collaboration with H&M! I was so lucky when I first visited Paris years ago he was having an exhibition in Chateau de Versailles! If you are wondering who he is, he is famous for his massive balloons scupltures and massive puppy installations, here is the website to get to know him better. Anyway he is now doing a limited-edition bag that would be available from the 17th of July 2014, the sad part is, it is only available from a few shop in the United States and from their US online store. The Balloon Dog bag is a black leather cross body bag with Jeff Koons famous balloon dog, and it’s a steal for $49.50.

This collaboration comes up because Jeff Koons is taking over the Fifth Avenue Flagship shop in Manhattan New York on opening day as part of Fashion loves Art, and to celebrate his new show “Jeff Koons: A retrospective” which is showing at the Whitney Museum of American Art from the 19th of October 2014 onwards which H&M is sponsoring.  This would be the first time the swedish fashion house collaborating with an artist. It’s nice to see fashion promoting art, especially towards the younger generations. This flagship shop will be a museum inspired store and H&M customers will experience something totally different compare to other H&M shops and it will be the biggest world’s largest H&M Flagship shop with 57,000 square feet with a home department. Impressive right?

This was the Split Rocker in Versailles, isn’t just wonderful. I think it was such an amazing exhibition, combining the old with modern art. Well well don’t despair if you a fan of Koons, his show will be exhibited here in Centre Pompidou from the 26th of November 2014. This is something definitely won’t miss out on!
